Meetings of the Dean of the Military Academy, Bogdanoski with a representative of the Vermont National Guard and the Defence Attaché of Norway

The Dean of the Military Academy, Colonel Mitko Bogdanoski, had two meetings on 21 September – with Colonel Christopher Evans of the Vermont National Guard, as well as with Norway’s Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Dag-Magne Lunde.

At the meeting with Colonel Evans, Colonel Bogdanoski presented the activities of the Academy and expressed readiness to deepen the cooperation with the Vermont National Guard in the field of military education and training. Colonel Evans, on the other hand, expressed his gratitude for the support of the Military Academy in the conduct of the exercise “CSIRT Management Workshop” in the period 13 – 22 September, which was attended by members of the Army and MOD employees, and cyber defense experts were lecturers from the Vermont National Guard.

The focus of the meeting with the Norwegian Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Lunde, was on the coordination of activities for exchange of cadets between North Macedonia and Norway – three Norwegian cadets will stay at the Military Academy during the winter semester, while two cadets from our Military Academy will be part of the Norwegian Military Academy during the summer semester.

At the meeting, Colonel Bogdanoski thanked Colonel Lunde for the continuous Norwegian support in the development of military education and informed him about the Institute for Cyber Security and Digital Forensics at the Military Academy, which is currently being established.
