Today, the Minister of Defence, Radmila Shekerinska, visited the members of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, who in the “Ilinden” barracks voluntarily participated in the emergency call for blood donation, organized after the request from the Institute of Transfusiology.

During the visit, the Minister said that the act of donating blood is the most humane deed that anyone can do and just like many times before, the members of the Army have always, without exception, responded to every need of the citizens.

When donating blood, the Army pay attention to the request from the “8 September” Hospital to provide deficient blood groups for which a request from this hospital was made.
For the humanity and readiness to help, the Red Cross awarded badges and certificates of appreciation to the members of the Army with 5, 10 and 25 blood donations. Among them is Zoran Kolevski, staff sergeant 1st class, who today donated blood for the 44th time.
