The Military Academy is organizing the fifth international high education defence – security project “SUMMER CAMPUS”. The experiences acquired thus far have been positive, considering that numerous renowned professors and foreign and national experts, students from the world best ranking universities, cadets from the military academies of NATO member states and representatives from NATO commands and institutions have taken part in this project. This project is also supported by the civilian authorities and structures in the Republic of Macedonia, primarily the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Ministry of Defence, in view of promoting the country as a supporter of the efforts of the international community for maintaining and supporting peace on regional and global level. In addition to cadet and student training, the project also includes promotion of the defence – security capacities of the country (training areas, accommodation facilities, regional opportunities) and presentation of the tradition, culture, beauties and potential of the entire cultural and historical heritage of the country. The project is designed for continuous acquisition of the lessons learned from the post-conflict operations conducted heretofore. The focus will be placed on certain elements of Small unit tactics and Troop leading procedures, Public relations – PR and cohabitation with other actors, such as NGOs, Humanitarian organizations, ICRC etc., the role of Junior officers in the protection of strategic communications and Information operations as a line of post-conflict operations with a specific focus on PR and Humanitarian Aid to local population. The international high education defence – security project “SUMMER CAMPUS” will be conducted in 4 phases: 1 phase: academic part on the topic “Post-conflict action and enabling the state capacities”; 2 phase: Exercising individual tactics, techniques and procedures for conducting offensive operations and familiarization with appropriate procedures, tactics and skills from the domain of stabilization and support operations; 3 phase: Implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills through a final closing exercise; 4 phase: Cultural and sports activities – presentation of the tradition, culture, beauties and potential of the entire cultural and historical heritage of the Republic of Macedonia (these activities will be organized throughout the duration of the international high education defence – security project “SUMMER CAMPUS”.
