Shekerinska and Daltveit signed the Norwegian Donation Protocol for North Macedonia: a total of 300,000 euros in Army assistance

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Radmila Shekerinska and Norwegian Defence Attaché Daltveit signed a Donation Protocol from the Kingdom of Norway to the Republic of North Macedonia in medical supplies in the amount of 100 thousand euros. These funds are a supplement to the 200,000 euros that Norway has already provided through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency.

The total amount of 300 thousand euros will be used to provide medical supplies and equipment for the mobile hospital ROLE 2 MTF, which is also a Norwegian donation, and which the Ministry of Defence and the Army have set up at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Skopje, thus providing additional 130 – 200 hospital beds.

Norway gesture is yet another in a series of positive examples of assistance and support of NATO members to the Republic of North Macedonia as a sincere act of welcome to our country in the Alliance.
