The action was conducted at several locations in the barracks “Ilinden”, “Goce Delchev” in Aerodrom, “Gjorche Petrov” and Petrovec Barracks in Skopje. Cleaning was also carried out in other garrisons throughout the country – Kumanovo, Tetovo, Kichevo, Prilep, Veles, Shtip.
“We filled hundreds of bags with garbage, to ensure that all sites remain clean after today. It is as simple as that – if you want a clean country, if we mind the garbage, we must stop throwing it where we shouldn’t, “the Minister said.
The members of the Army have shown on a number of occasions so far that the priority for the Ministry and the Army is the clean environment, as a fundamental human right. The authorities from NATO Liaison Office in Skopje and the US Office of Defense Cooperation joined the Army in today’s campaign.
