Academic ball for the cadets from the 14th class of the Military Academy

An Academic ball was held today at the Army Home on the occasion of the completion of the graduate studies of the 14th class of cadets at the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski” Skopje.

At this event, the Minister of Defence Zoran Jolevski addressed the present cadets, future officers in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, expressing first his pleasure for the opportunity to celebrate with the cadets the completion of their graduate studies.

– Thanks to the education you have acquired, the upcoming period will be important not only for you and your families, but for the Republic of Macedonia as well. As future officers, the security and stability of our country will be in your hands. I am convinced that as our peacekeepers, you will represent the Army of the Republic of Macedonia in the same dignified manner both in and outside the borders of our country, underlined Minister Jolevski.

During the years you spent together, you have acquired knowledge that will be a solid foundation for your continued education and experience that will be very beneficial in your future engagement in the ARM units, stated the Chief of General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski. He added that many challenges were overcome in the course of the four years of training and that in the future they will successfully face, as officers, all upcoming challenges as well.

The Dean of the Military Academy, Colonel Orce Popovski expressed his gratitude to the professors, assistants and the other staff at the Academy, without whom we would not have had the opportunity to celebrate today the success of the new officers. On this occasion, he thanked Minister Jolevski for the full support that he has given to this institution since the very first moment he took over his function. At the end of his address, Colonel Popovski wished the future officers success in their new endeavors.

In addition to the cadets of the 14th class, the six cadets from Montenegro were also part of today’s ceremony, since they also completed their graduate studies at the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski” – Skopje.
